Make & Take Friday 8th March

Here are 3 samples for tomorrows Make & Take.

For the background on this card I have sponged the card with 2 colours of Distress Oxide inks and then crunched it up then flatten, use a crunched up piece of kitchen roll and rub a little on to it then wipe gently over the inked surface. Spray with water and place another piece of card on the back and front then put through your die cutting machine to flatten it out and you will get another piece that looks just like marble.

Here is the spare piece that has taken up the ink after going trough the machine. I used a brown for rubbing over the cracks.

Make & Take Friday 24th Jan 14

A lovely simple card for this weeks Make & take. I masked off a section in the centre of a piece of white card and wet it with a mica solution then added colour using Lyra Aqua colours which spreads into the wet area then dried it off and stamped the poppy.

Make & take Friday 11th May

I loved this messy background as I was making it today then stamped the poppy and bleached it, I liked the look of it so left it as it was but I might try another poppy layer on the top in the morning to see how it looks.
