Make & Take Friday 18th March

This week I have used the papers from Echo Park. The trees are on one sheet that you can cut into strips and get lots out of one sheet of paper, the others are all in the same range so they match each other, or you could use all those little left over pieces. I then stamped 3 flowers from Artemio and layered them with silicon so that they don't go flat.

Make & Take Friday 21st January

Quite an easy card this week.
I have just taken a soft patterned paper and stamped on it, added a little more colour using glitter pens, then it is just layered on to different colour card, white ribbon added. I then added the butterfly which is from the same set.
The stamp is from an Artemio set which can be found here--

Make & Take Friday 11th June

Another popular card.
I have stamped the tulips in the centre first then then added the grass and dragonflies, cut it to the right size and sponged around the edges with 2 different shades of green. Then stamped the dots.
Next comes the fiddly bit, I decided the I would cut each line at 1.5cm, which I have cut across, that then means that you need to cut the strips into 3cm pieces which is double the height measurement and you get one small block at the end. At this point I need to say that you need to cut the card the right size in the first place so it needs to be able to be divided by 1.5cm, my card measured 10.5cm x 7.5cm.
When you have cut the blocks sponge around each one then stick on to black card leaving a tiny gap in between each one, I then mounted it on to the light green card then on to darker green card which I have punched with a corner punch.

Make & Take Friday 4th June

A lovely black and white card the white card in the background has been stamped in black ink, the black card has been stamped with Versamark and embossed with clear powder, I think this is a lovely effect without being over-powering.

Using a Brayer workshop

These cards have been made using a Brayer. I showed everyone different ways of using your Brayer, then we made these cards using some of the sample pieces.

Make & Take Friday 14th August

On a piece of ivory card I have sponged the clouds using a cloud template, at the bottom I used a piece of ripped paper to make the hills by pulling the ink off the edge with a sponge in 3 shades of green. I then stamped the poppies in different colours. The red card has been stamped with Versamark.
