Alcohol Inks using Hairspray

Here I have used glossy card and sprayed it with hairspray then dropped alcohol inks into the puddle and tipped the card to mingle the colours together.

"What No Gelli Plate"

I used a stamping mat with  a messy mat on top instead of a Gelli Mat.
Just put a few blobs of acrylic paint on to the surface of you mat and brayer it smooth but not too thinly, keep a piece of paper at the side and roll your brayer on to it and you will get another piece of paper to add some pattern too.
Then place sequin waste, plastic templates or anything that will make an impression in the paint then remove and press on a piece of thick paper or card , just keep pressing on to different areas until you are happy with it.

Here is an A4 sheet that I cut in half after I finished it and then embossed it and brushed over with a darker green ink.

Brayered Tissue Technique
This technique gives you 2 pieces of background card.
You need white tissue, white card, Big n Juicy ink pad, brayer and
Mica powder powder mixed in water, ( I use gold Pearl-Ex and a little Gum Arabic).

Ink up your brayer with the ink pad and run over the tissue in any direction,
then scrunch it up in a small ball undo but do not flatten too much,

Spray a piece of white card with the mica spray and place the inked side of the tissue on to the wet card (it should be creased) now brayer the tissue on to the card, remove tissue and dry both pieces with your heat gun, the tissue can now be stuck on to another piece of white card and you now have 2 backgrounds.

You can see on the card above that I stamped on to the inked card and used the tissue piece as the background.
