Some new simple cards.

I have been making some quite simple cards this week

 Found a use for my white card trimmings

 Used the Petite Gelli plate for these 2 cards.

This corner background is made with alcohol inks.

This is a messy background strip and stamped it with Tapestry stamps, the borders are washi tape.

 Oxide ink pads for this card just sponged and left quite rough, 
then stamped with the flower branch.

I put a couple of drops on my glass mat and a little blending fluid and dipped glossy card into it.

The background on this one is one of my normal alcohol ink backgrounds,
Dies from John Next Door.

Alcohol Ink Marbling

Here are some backgrounds using alcohol inks in 
water like marbling.
It colours both sides of the card as you can see here 
each pair is the front and back of one dip.
Next I am going to try alcohol pearl ink to see what happens. --- the alcohol ink Pearls didn't work well.

White Posca pen added. 

 I then cut the paper on the diagonal and cut off thin strips.
and stuck the card on to a white background .
Then added some stamped and die cut images,

inspiration while at home

I have decided to cancel all workshops and 
Make & Takes until 1st May, 
hopefully we shall be back then.

Meanwhile here are a couple of ideas for you.
Just in case you are in need of inspiration.

I have used my alcohol ink backgrounds for these 2 cards, on the top one I have stamped and embossed John Next Door dragonfly, the one below the flowers are die cut with John Next Door flowers.

Alcohol Ink Backgrounds.

I have been playing again with my 
alcohol ink backgrounds
 I have used the Tim Holtz cone flower.
 This one is using the free stamps and dies from a magazine.
 My new stamps and dies arrived yesterday so have used them with my alcohol ink backgrounds on these 4 cards.
