2 variations for this weeks
Make & Take.
The windmill is the original, then I decided to make it again with a tree at the left side, but a drop of bleach was dropped on it which is on the left side so had to do something else, so I made the greeting to cover it then added another tree and fences and the man & boy.
The background is made with Distress re-inkers and Perfect Pearl mica powder in blue, placed on to a mat then smooshed the card in it.
Then stamped using Faded Jeans Distress and Denim Adirondack inks.

Come along today if you would like to make one of these cards or put your own ideas on to it.

Make & Take Friday 5th August

I found some tissue coasters at the Cash & Carry so I used them on this weeks card.
I just dragged over the coaster using Broken China Distress ink, then made sure that I only had the top layer as there were about 8 layers, and glued it on to a backing circle, I coloured the lace using Broken China Distress Stain, it is excellent for colouring your ribbon to match your card.

Make & Take Friday 27th May

Here I have made a messy background using "Distress Stains" on a messy may and spraying with Cosmic Shimmer and then picking it up with glossy card, then stamped the Japanese lady on it using black Versafine and embossing with clear powder.

Make & Take Friday 25th March

This weekend we are making Easter cards.

I have a lot of sample pieces of backgrounds that I have made using inks and sprays and thought that this week I would use some of them.
I have chosen a background then stamped and embossed then using a water brush filled with bleach I have bleached out selected areas.
You never know how the bleaching is going to turn out which adds to the unpredictability of the card.
I have borrowed these crosses and think they have turned out very well.

Make & Take Friday 4th September

This week I used some lace on our Friday card, it seems to be very much in fashion at the moment and today we have Ruth Demonstrating using the lace and her sewing machine - not necessarily together though.
The stamp is from a new set by Prima just £2.59 here at the shop, I have stamped and embossed it with the border from the same set, I have coloured it with a tiny dab of Distress ink or Adirondack ink and a tiny spot of Cosmic Shimmer powder mixed together with your water brush. The background is a scrapbook paper that I have sponged with the same colour Distress inks and Adirondack inks which are Dusty Concord and Cranberry.

Make & Take Fri 19th Feb

Another popular card(but all of them are really) Wipe 3 or 4 colours of Distress or Adironack inks on to a waterproof mat spray with a little water then pull a piece of glossy card through the inks, then dry and stamp an image in the centre. The edge has been coloured with purple ink then roughened with the edge of a pair of scissors and embossed using versamark and clear powder, then sponge the very edge with black ink.
