3 More Cards.

The first 2 cards I have placed the cut out items and then used "Press N Seal" to lift them in their order then put glue on the back and pressed them back on to the card, and pulled the Press N Seal of to leave the cut outs in the right places.

for this card I have used Pan Pastels for the background, the Liliums are from Lavinia.

Here are cards from the Quick and Easy workshop

Make & Take Friday 23rd March

The background on this card is made with old book pages.
Rip a couple of pages into small pieces about 50p size and glue on to a piece of white card,
overlapping the pieces, when the card is covered dry it off with a heat gun (not too close)
Now rub a water based dye ink pad over the card and the ink will just pick up on the overlapping bits,
Dry off, now brush over with a darker colour ink,
I used Distress inks in Victorian Velvet and Aged Mahogany.
Now take a little Perfect Pearl powder or Cosmic Shimmer powder and mix to a paste with water and just brush randomly over the paper background, this will give it a pearly shade in places.
If you would like to make this card for just £1.50 then come along today or Sunday between 10.30 and 3.30

Make & Take Friday 14th January

A couple of the girls who come regularly requested a mans' card for this week.
I first made the backgrounds by rubbing Adirondack and Distress inks on to a messy mat then sprayed with water that has Perfect Pearls blue mica powder added to it, then I dragged the card through it, the first sheet was covered completely and the second sheet was just picking up the remainder so it was more patchy, I have added sticky mesh in the corners and down the side of the background for added detail.
The lighthouse stamp is from Inkadinkado and the seagull is from Elusive Images.

Make & Take Friday 7th January

Our first card for the new year.
I didn't plan on an Easter card but a few people thought it looked like it.
I stamped and embossed on to glossy card, I rubbed ink from 5 different Distress ink pads on to a messy mat then sprayed them with water and then picked up the colour with a brush and stippled over the picture.
Trimmed and layered on to cream and blue swirly card.
Why not come along on Sunday to make this card for just £1.50
