Make &Take Friday 16th December

Here is the card for this weeks Make & Take, a fancy tree from Kanban has been stamped and embosses on to a softly brushed background, a smaller version has been stamped with Versamark and embossed on to the background card, dots of  Liquid Pearls have been added to the centres of the flowery leaves.

This is the last Make & Take until 6th January.
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

The sad news is that after much soul searching I have decided to close the shop,
I shall be doing all the Workshops, Make & Take days, Craft Club evening, Knit & Stitch evening as normal but in my workroom inside the Alpa Garden Centre.

Make & Take Friday 2nd July

Our card this week is a black and white one. I used a Cupcake stamp to stamp the pattern at the side using the top of the stamp to make the printed lacy edge then trimmed it following the pattern.

Make & Take Fri 19th March

2 Variations of the same card
The tree is first stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with clear powder then the background is added by swiping a Kaleidacolor ink pad on a waterproof mat and spray with water then pull your card through it and the tree resists the ink. Mount on to white card leaving a larger margin on one side for the lilac version, then stamp flowers at the side using Dusty Concord Distress ink then colour in with a clean water brush and you pull in the colour from the ink.
Stamp the owl using black Versafine and emboss using clear powderThese cards are made using a stamp set from Kan ban
