Workshop Monday 12th September

Here are 2 cards for tomorrows workshop
The wild flowers are from Woodware and I have stencilled the diamonds with a Tim Holtz mini stencil.
I have used Tim Holtz Wild Flowers stamps and dies on this one. I bleached the flowers on the "messy background" before stamping them with inks. The main flower is from Magenta.

Make & Take Friday 8th July

I have been doing a few "Bleach" workshops this week and had a lot of spare "messy" backgrounds so I used them for this card, I stamped using bleach as my ink pad then when it was dry I stamped and embossed the border stamp, added flowers and gems.

Make & Take Friday 10th June

On the card for this Friday I have used Distress Stains, just dabbing 3 colours on to a white card then I dabbed it with a baby wipe to blend them together and give a little texture, I then stamped and embossed the tulips then bleached them. I have used Sticky Mesh on the green card.

Make & Take Friday 26th April.

Here is the card for the 26th April that I had forgotten, I have brayered on to glossy card then stamped and embossed with black ink and clear powder. I then took a water brush filled with bleach and bleached out the land areas. The stamp is an old one from Hero.

Make & Take Fri 26th March

Swipe a Kaleidacolor ink pad on a waterproof mat and spray with a co-ordinating colour of Glimmer Mist which gives the background a sheen which you cant see in the picture then pull your card through it in one direction to keep the colour in line. Dry using a heat gum, rub with an anti-static pad now stamp the flowers using black Versafine ink and emboss with clear powder, use bleach to make the flowers white(I keep a water brush filled with bleach) stamp some extra small flowers in the background. I added a little colour to the centre of the flowers and added a dew drop. Trim and layer on to a purple piece of card that has had a swirl stamped and embossed at the right side using Versamark and white powder.

Make & Take Friday 27th November

This week everyone could chose what they wanted to do using this technique.
So here are my 2 samples.
Using a waterproof mat and Adirondack or Distress inks, rub 3 colours on the mat and then add a small spray of water then drag a piece of hite card through the inks, you will end up with a coloured piece of card, dry, then stamp using bleach as your ink, this will bleach out some of the colour on the card. Now stamp again slightly out of line with the bleach image using a co-ordinating ink. Then just build up your card.

Make & Take Fri 1st May

The back ground on this card is made by using bleach and cling film, place a piece of kitchen towel in a shallow dish and pour on the bleach , just enough to wet the towel, now dab with the crumpled up cling film and stroke gently on your card, dont over do it or you will just bleach the whole card to one colour, I used Bazzill card and found that it bleaches nicely. Make sure that it is dry by going over with a heat gun, now stamp the flowers using black Versafine and emboss with clear powder. Wrap ribbon around card near the bottom and attach to a card base then add flowers and a greeting.
