Christmas Puds

Mitch and I have been busy knitting these Christmas Puddings for her chosen charity which is Shooting Star Chase- childrens Hospice.
There are also Santa Hats but the picture did not turn out so will update the picture tomorrow.

With thanks to Sheila B who took a couple to work and sold 175 puds and 90 hats.
They each have a Ferrero Rocher inside and we sell them for 60p each.
I have now added the Santa hats, this is a pic of the last 8 puds and hats which have now been sold.
We have raised £300 of which £200 will be sent to the charity, the other £100 was the cost of the chocolates.
Thanks to all that have brought any puds and hats.

Make & Take Friday 30th November

Here is this weeks card, quite a simple one this week , I have used Dylon fabric dye to colour the red card pieces. I stamped the poinsettia with Versamark and embossed with gold powder, I sprinkled the Dylon on to a messy mat  and sprayed with gold mica in water and then dragged the poinsettia through it and also another piece of card that has then been stamped with gold snowflakes.

Make & Take Friday 16th November

This lovely Santa is this weeks Make & Take.
I have made the tissue paper background by brayering a piece of tissue with Distress Barn Door ink pad, then spray a piece of card with gold mica spray so it is really wet then place your scrunched up tissue on top and brayer flat then take off the tissue and I have used this piece of card for the Santa card but you can dry the tissue and stick it on another piece of card for another background.

the colour into the hole, then I stamped the green small trees and then removed the mask.
I then stamped and embossed the 2 large trees, stamped the Santa sleigh and snowflakes using Brilliance Lightning Black, brushed around the edges , layered it on to green card then on to red card that has been sponged around the edges. Added a greeting.

Here is a card that I have made this week, I was playing around with some new Dylon colours that I brought  and made quite a few backgrounds, I then decided to do the Frantage effect on one of them, this is the background on the left, adding some different colour Stampendous embossing powders and glass glitter.

Club Night 27th September - Acrylic paint backgroiunds

For Club Night this week I found a technique using black acrylic paint.
I sponged black acrylic paint on to various surfaces then sponged metallic paint on top of it
This one is tissue paper painted with black then lilac and pink Lunar Lights, after painting it is dried with a heat gun and scrunched up then stuck on to white card stock and brayered to make it flat.
----
On this one I have used burgundy paint for the first layer then added pink and blue Lunar Lights.
--------------
I then moved on to painting on kitchen paper  towel in the same manner, I then inked the inside of an embossing folder with Versamark and ran the card and folder through the Cuttlebug, then added embossing powder.

This is a blue version using kitchen towel
--------------

I then moved on to parchment paper again sponging with the black paint then sponging on top with copper irredescent medium, then put it in an embossing folder then I sponged over it with white pearlescent paint and this is the result, I turned it over and thought that it looked good with the white parchment and black background, and wondered what it would look like if I rubbed it over using Metallic rub-ons and this is the result below which looks fabulous.

--------------------

Here is my finished card using the green kitchen towel background.

This is Carole's finished card.

Jan's card.
