Make & Take Friday 29th Oct
Another technique idea this week.
Stamp the words in Denim Adirondack ink and dry with a heat gun then use an anti static pad over it.
Now stamp an image using Versamark ink and emboss with clear powder.
Using a sponge, squeeze it so that it has a rounded top and sponge the Denim ink over the image starting in the centre and working outward each time you re-ink the sponge. Trim, and then sponge the edges.
Layer as desired, there are some more cards to follow using the same technique.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge...Week 123
This is my card for the Penny Black Friends challenge this week, number 123.
I make the crochet flowers myself. The image is stamped and embossed and coloured with Tombow brush markers.
This is the sketch challenge this week.

Make & Take Friday 15th Oct
I am entering this card for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.
This week you have to use at least 2 Penny Black images,
here I have used 4 from the "Robin's Kingdom " set.
I had this lovely mouve card that I wanted to use, and found the idea for the background on a blog.
I masked off a square with sticky notes then put strips of sticky notes across diagonally then sponged in between, I then took the strips off and stamped the trees then took the rest off and stamped the star and snowflakes.

Craft Club Night 12th October
A Different way with Liquid Pearls.
I made this card for last night's Craft Club, the background is using Liquid Pearls.
The house stamp is from Elusive Images.
Take a piece of white card, any colour of Liquid Pearls and a piece of cling film.
Place a small amount of the Liquid Pearls on to a craft mat or acrylic block.
Scrunch up your cling film(you don't want it smoooth)
Now just pick up a little Liquid Pearls with the cling film and dab all over your white card but don't fill it completely, you can see in the following picture a little bit better on how much to cover your card.
Now take 2 or 3 different shades of ink pads( I like to use Adirondack or Distress inks)
and sponge gently around the edges using the lightest first and working out to the darkest.
You get a lovely pearly effect that can't be seen very well here.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge...Week 121
This is the card that I am entering in the Penny Black Saturday Challenge, this week the subject is--
DON'T BE SQUARE
I have used the mouse and tree from the Jolly Friends set and the star is from Robin's Kingdom set.
The paper is from Fancy Pants and red and green Bazzill has been used.
It's a pity that you can't see the glitter very well on the scarf, mits, tree and star.
I have taken a square card and divided each side into 3 then cut away the corner sections.
We shall be making this card on our Friday and Sunday Make and Take.
So just pop along to the shop if you would like to make it.

Make and Take Friday 1st October
This flower is from new Christmas set from Penny Black, although it doesn't look Christmassy, so that you can use it any time. I have coloured it with Tombow water colours which I much prefer to Promarkers, I find them much easier to shade with.
