Triangle trees

For these cards I have used Washi tape on a 6 x 6 piece of card then cut 3 sets of triangles then mounted 

them on to a square piece of card.

I just got a new stamp set from Stampin Up so just had to use one of them, 

here is a tree from the "Lovely As A Tree" set. I have used the Artkure water colour brushes on the tree.

Make & Take Friday 9th November.

Here is this weeks Make & Take.

I have cut a circle out of a piece of paper and placed it over a piece of white card and sponged

the colour into the hole, then I stamped the green small trees and then removed the mask.

I then stamped and embossed the 2 large trees, stamped the Santa sleigh and snowflakes using Brilliance Lightning Black, brushed around the edges , layered it on to green card then on to red card that has been sponged around the edges. Added a greeting.

Make &Take Friday 16th December

Here is the card for this weeks Make & Take, a fancy tree from Kanban has been stamped and embosses on to a softly brushed background, a smaller version has been stamped with Versamark and embossed on to the background card, dots of  Liquid Pearls have been added to the centres of the flowery leaves.

This is the last Make & Take until 6th January.

The sad news is that after much soul searching I have decided to close the shop, 

I shall be doing all the Workshops, Make & Take days, Craft Club evening, Knit & Stitch evening as normal but in my workroom inside the Alpa Garden Centre.

Club night - 8th November

I have been playing with acetate and acrylic paints, so thought we might do this at club night tonight.

I took 2 pieces of card and placed drops of acrylic paint on to one of them, then smooshed the 2 card pieces together and dried ti off.

Stamped on to a piece of acetate then stuck double sided sticky sheet on the the back, added small pieces of gold leaf for the poinsettia and for the tree one I gently brushed on some mica powder on to the tree and then added the gold leaf and glitter.

They are then stuck on to the acrylic painted card.

You can't see the effect in the photo but they look really good in real life.

I used mirri card on this card and so you can see my hand reflection in it.

The stamp is one of the free ones that came with the Creative Stamping magazine.

Make & Take Friday 21st Oct

This week I have used Distress Stains with aCuttlebug folder.

Using a brass rubbing effect with a wax candle on to the back of the folder then rub over with the Distress Stain and then wipe with a baby wipe, then heat with a heat gun this will dry it off and also makes the wax disappear into the card ready for stamping.

Make & Take Friday 18th March

This week I have used the papers from Echo Park. The trees are on one sheet that you can cut into strips and get lots out of one sheet of paper, the others are all in the same range so they match each other, or you could use all those little left over pieces. I then stamped 3 flowers from Artemio and layered them with silicon so that they don't go flat.

Make & Take Friday 10th December

Here I have used the Hobby Art Tree, stamped it in silver on navy blue card.

I wanted to use the icicles that I cut out for last weeks card and didn't use them.

I have put silver and red dots of Stickles Glitter glue. It actually looks much better in real life as it glitters nicely.

Quite a simple one for this week, the tree was inked and repeat stamped without re-inking then sponged around the edges. Snowman is from Personal Impressions.
