Make & Take Friday 10th September

This card/gift wallet is made from 4 circles that I have cut on the cuttlebug using a scallop edge template, folded in half then overlapped to make a square base and the front folds in to close the card.

Make & Take Friday 5th August

I found some tissue coasters at the Cash & Carry so I used them on this weeks card.
I just dragged over the coaster using Broken China Distress ink, then made sure that I only had the top layer as there were about 8 layers, and glued it on to a backing circle, I coloured the lace using Broken China Distress Stain, it is excellent for colouring your ribbon to match your card.

Make & Take Friday 24th June

A nice and easy card for this weeks Make & Take.
I have stamped the flower with Green Versafine then embossed it with Red Wow Embossing powder and sponged around the edges. The pink has been embossed with a Creative Expressions embossing folder.
I have used the lace that I have here at the shop, using 2 strips and threading ribbon through the holes.
Come along on Sunday if you would like to make this card.

Craft Club Night 26th Aug

We had a bit of a messy night at our craft evening, these are 2 cards that I have made using the backgrounds.
The background on the green one is made using Memories Mists.
I sprayed 3 colours on to glossy white card then got another piece of glossy card and smooshed it together.
Then sprayed the 2 pieces with Dettol 3 in 1 spray, which has spread the colour into spots.
I then stamped the Dragonfly using Black Versafine and embossed with Clear powder.

The background on this second card is glossy card again and scribbled over with Lyra Aqua colours, then sprayed with quite a bit a water to make the colours run, while it is still wet I dropped pink ink on the the top and this is what happened. A really nice effect.

Both stamps are from Great Impressions.
