Frantage card

Here is a card that I have made this week, I was playing around with some new Dylon colours that I brought  and made quite a few backgrounds, I then decided to do the Frantage effect on one of them, this is the background on the left, adding some different colour Stampendous embossing powders and glass glitter.

Make & Take Friday 17th June

I have made this weeks card in sepia tones, stamped the dandelion clock on to printed vellum, used a glue pen to place dots of glue on the reverse so that it could be stuck on to the beige card. When the card was finished I added diamond stickles and a gem in the corner.
The background has been stamped around the edge then sponged over.
Come along on Sunday if you would like to make this card.

I have made another variation on Friday's card using an iris stamp and changing the main colour at the back. The patterned paper is reversible so I used the other side.

Make & Take Friday 10th June

On the card for this Friday I have used Distress Stains, just dabbing 3 colours on to a white card then I dabbed it with a baby wipe to blend them together and give a little texture, I then stamped and embossed the tulips then bleached them. I have used Sticky Mesh on the green card.

Make & Take Friday 1st April

This card would be ideal as a moving home card
but I have just left it with a general greeting.
The background has been stamped with Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder, then sponged over with brown ink and polished with a clean piece of kitchen towel to make the embossing look a bit sharper.

Make & Take Friday 20th August

Another technique this week, Stamp the flowers in Versamark and emboss with clear powder, now take 3 colours of dye based ink and put patch of each colour then spray with a mix of Mica powder in water ,I have used gold Pearl-Ex. then drag the white card through the puddle, you may need to do it several times to cover the white card. I then sponged extra colour around the edges. The flowers on the front are painted with Pearl-Ex palettes. The stamps are a clear set from Kars.
