A soft stamped background on the main card then a strip og green pre embossed card with a narrow strip has been added to left side, then a piece of lilac card has been added that has been ripped along the top and wraped with a pink ribbon and topped with a greeting.

Today we made an Oriental card using this background as it really lent itself towards the Oriental look.

To make this background you need black card, Adirondack Dabbers, Krylon pens and an old credit card.

It is a good idea to use one piece of A4 card and make a whole sheet while you are at it.Place 3 or 4 colours of the dabbers on to a waterproof mat or piece of acetate by un screwing the top and using them straight from the bottle.Dip your old credit card into your first colour then take it to your black card and swipe it in a circular movement then repeat with the other colours leaving some of the black card showing, then take the black dabber, dip into it with the Credit card then just place the inked end on the black card without pulling so you just get lines.When this is dry (use heat gun if necessary)stamp at random using solid stamps then highlight with the Krylon pen that matches your colour scheme.

By just using one colour of ink, just stamp the words first then stamp the flower then sponge with the same colour ink, add the wool wrapped around and add a greeting.
A very quick and easy card.

Fun With Windows

These are cards with a cut out window, the red one has beads dangling in the window, the blue one has had a line of card left in the centre of the window then the dragonflies are stuck on to this strip, the white and pink one has a vellum wrap and the window is cut through both layers with the flower sitting in the window.

Using glossy card stamp with a permanent ink them colour selected areas with a wax crayon or candle, then rub over with ink on a sponge.

A lovely blue and white card.
Stamping on to white glossy card then colour parts of the image that you want to remain white with a white wax crayon or white or clear candle.
On this image I used Distress inks in Faded Jeans and Broken China, rubbed them on to a messy mat and spray with a little water then stipple or sponge on to image, the wax will resist the ink and these parts will be left white.
Then Layer on to different colour card using the left over bits for the strips then add peel off strip over the blue strips.

A lovely card using a cherry blossom stamp from Elusive Images showing that you can use your stamp as a main image or just use parts of it to make smaller pictues.

This card was coloured using pencils, the green background is a piece of white core card that has been run through the cuttlebug using the Tapestry Embossing template then sandpaper the surface so it scratches it off down to the white core.

A good way to use your left over strips of Bazzill or textured card is to glue them on to a patterned background paper to break it up
