This is this week's Make & Take card.
Lilies and bull rushes on a background made with Distress Stains.
You can't see it on the picture but I have added Diamond Glaze to the Lilies and sprinkled with glitter.

The background on this card is made with old book pages.
Rip a couple of pages into small pieces about 50p size and glue on to a piece of white card,
overlapping the pieces, when the card is covered dry it off with a heat gun (not too close)
Now rub a water based dye ink pad over the card and the ink will just pick up on the overlapping bits,
Dry off, now brush over with a darker colour ink,
I used Distress inks in Victorian Velvet and Aged Mahogany.
Now take a little Perfect Pearl powder or Cosmic Shimmer powder and mix to a paste with water and just brush randomly over the paper background, this will give it a pearly shade in places.
If you would like to make this card for just £1.50 then come along today or Sunday between 10.30 and 3.30

Here is a card nade by Mitch using the same "Paint Fusion" method as the previous post, although she was just trying it out ona piece of scrap paper and then didn't want to throw it away so she stuck it on to a piece of card and cut it out, and it worked well.

I was having a play at Paint Fusion and came up with this flower, I don't know what variety it looks like but I like it. I made some more flowers too so will upload them when I have made them into cards. If you would like to have a go let me know and we can arrange a class.

There is a choice of 2 cards this week, as you know I have a lot of Irises and Cherry blossoms stamped out so this week we are using them for the cards. The background has been brushed with inks and sprayed with green mica spray and then stamped around the edges. There is space at the bottom to put a greeting.

This is the card that I made for club night, we were painting with embossing powders, a chance to use all those powders that you buy and never use.
I first stamped the flower on a piece of white card with an old worn out ink pad so that you can see where to place your colours.
Next I padded all over it with a Versamark ink pad then sprinkled on embossing powders in various colours, I then heated it and then stamped with the same stamp on top of the original image which has disappeared under the embossing powder, using Versafine black and embossed with black powder, I then cut it out and mounted it on to the background paper.

Here are 3 of the cards that we made at Craft Club night tonight.
Using the "Encrusted Jewels" Technique from Stampendous
We stamped an image or 2 then sprinkled embossing powders on the card then added accent beadz, beadazzles and other bits of glitter on top of the powder then heated from underneath to melt it all together.
